Based in Montreal, SAP Labs Canada is an integral part of SAP's global development network. The research and development centre develops cutting-edge software products for a wide array of SAP solutions. Our developers design applications for SAP Customer Relationship Management, for service industries (SAP for Retail and SAP for Utilities), and for SAP solutions for Mobile Business.

The Lab's mission is to lead the creation and delivery of valued solutions for strategic business processes that enhance our customers' business goals and objectives. Through our participation in the innovative business technology community in Canada, we pursue the ongoing discovery of superior technologies and their application. SAP Research has set up a group that works out of SAP Labs Canada's Montreal facility.

SAP's Canadian research centre was an active member of the Industrial Advisory Board of SWEBOK (Software Engineering Body of Knowledge) project, a joint initiative of UQAM and IEEE to achieve international consensus on the body of knowledge in software engineering.
